Plug and Play Tech Center serves as the center of innovation and the hub of succes for many Silicon Valley start-ups. Jojo Flores, co-founder and Vice President for Operations of Plug and Play Tech Center will be in Cebu on March 23, 2011. He will introduce Plug and Play and its technology system in the Visayas region. Likewise, Jojo will share initiatives of the Science and Technology Advisory Council (STAC) of Silicon Valley that will help promising start-ups in the Philippines be global companies. Lastly, he will promote the pitch competitions slated on March 25, 2011 for the Visayas and Mindanao regions and a July competition for the Luzon and Metro Manila participants. From the said competitions, three (3) Filipino tech start-ups will be chosen to visit Silicon Valley for three (3) months, inclusive of travel and living expenses.
